Party in the USA Mahjong Style
Let's celebrate America's 250th birthday with a fun night of mahjong pool side at the Bungalows in Pass Christian. This event is bigger and better than before just like the good ole USA. The Bar at the Bungalows will open at 5 p.m. with food being served at 6:00 p.m. Social play will be held from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Event expanded to 60 participants. Registration includes appetizers from Field's in Pass Christian. Live music! Pass resident Andrew Schatzle will play for 2 hours during the event. The event is open social play. There are no assigned tables or seating. There will be beginner and intermediate tables. You select and play where you feel comfortable. Please bring a set of tiles and racks if you have them. The pool will be open for aqua mahjong as well. Pool boards will be available. Before the event, there will be a Mahjong Swap Meet held on the green space at the Pass Bungalows. The Swap Meet will be held from 5 - 6:30 p.m. Anyone can attend the Swap Meet free of charge. This Swap Meet is for mahjong items only! Think buy, sell, trade any mahjong items you have in your collection for new items or cash! What items can you sale - any item that goes into a table scape from side tables, table cloths, mats, tiles, lamps, bags, etc. If it's mahjong related bring it. You are responsible for setting up your booth. You will need to bring a table/displays for your items. Two friends can combine their items under one vendor registration. If you are participating in the social play event the vendor registration fee is $20 and can be selected as an add on item at registration. If you are not attending the social play and want to be a vendor the fee is $40, which includes access to the bar and appetizers.
